Annie Leibovitz Captures The Obama Family

On September 1, 2009, President Barak Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, sat down and experienced firsthand what it’s like to be opposite the camera held by renowned photographer, Annie Leibovitz.

The beautiful photographs were posted overnight by the White House’s Flickr feed and will be featured in Vanity Fair Magazine. The pictures reveal what perhaps many of us already knew; the Obama’s are truly the epitome of a grounded, close-knit family.

It is reported that Annie Leibovitz’s professional relationship with the Obamas goes back to 2004 when she photographed President Obama and his family during his run for the U.S. Senate. Since then, Obama has clearly been unstoppable and yet, as President, he maintains his professional relationship with Leibovitz as is demonstrated by the latest round of stunning photographs to appear this week.
