A Bride By Any Other Name

We have been anticipating it for months and talking about it for even longer. Finally, the fateful day arrived as America’s most famous daughter spent this past Sunday as America’s most beautiful bride.

Over the weekend, Ivanka Trump married the man who artist Peter Tunney called the most notable New Yorker, Jared Kushner. The sumptuous ceremony was held at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey, a venue owned by the bride’s famous father and Haute Living cover subject, Donald Trump.

We would expect nothing less than 500 of the world’s most notorious and celebrated headline-grabbers to show their faces and their support at the year’s most anticipated VIP event. Leaders of industry could be seen lined deep throughout the audience including Barbara Walters, Andrew Cuomo, Rudy Giullani, Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Anna Wintour, and Montblanc darling Emmy Rossum.

Naturally the bride wore the ultimate name in designer gowns, Vera Wang. Ivanka’s half-sister, Tiffany Trump served as a bridesmaid, alongside her sister-in-law, Vanessa Trump, who married Donald Jr. in 2005.

After a honeymoon in Africa, the bride is expected to continue her work shooting Celebrity Apprentice, keeping it all in the family by serving as right-hand woman for The Donald. She will also continue to ride the wave of best-selling success from her recent book, The Trump Card.
