Divorces can be nasty things, and in the case of Carlos and CeCe Boozer, it is quite an expensive thing as well. The couple is breaking up, and as such, expected to lose quite a chunk of change on their Miami waterfront property. The NBA forward for the Utah Jazz bought the South Florida mansion with his wife in 2007 and concurrent with Miami real estate prices at the time, paid $7.3 million for the five-bedroom abode. In today’s market, Boozer is listing the Miami estate for $6.9 million. The Mediterranean-style home comes equipped with smart house technology, a security camera system, state-of-the-art media room, gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and large eat-in area, and a three-car garage. According to listing details, the 17,630-square-foot property also includes a one-bedroom detached guesthouse, pool, dock and boatlift, and multiple outdoor terraces. Throughout the years, Boozer has also bought property in North Carolina, Ohio, and other luxury properties in South Florida, including a condominium in Jade at Brickell Tower that he sold in 2006, and a 7,356-square-foot mansion in Pinecrest, which he sold in 2007.
