Mercedes & IWC
We are big supporters of partnerships between luxury auto companies and high-end gadget co’s-the products that result are the type of gadgets that give us something to write about month after month. So when we saw the latest Mercedes-Benz limited edition SL63 AMG roadster that is the result of a partnership between Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen, we were more than tickled. Each of the cars-of which only 200 will be produced-will be delivered with a limited edition model of Grosser Ingenieur (Great Engineer) watch from IWC.
And the car itself is next level in virtually every way. Designed in conjunction with AMG Performance Studio and Desingo, the vehicle will have a 6.2-litre, 518-hp V8 engine under the hood. The white exterior, which has the same features as the regular AMG models, will be complimented by the unique interior, with Tobago Brown nappa leather seats, carbon matte trim and appealing Kashmir white finish.
