It has been recently revealed that this coming March, renowned timepiece maker Rolex will be hosting an exclusive auction in Milan, Italy offering a variety of rare vintage and classic watches. Collector Davide Blei has accumulated the finest Rolex collection in the world, and consequently is the possessor of some of the brands most exquisite, rare, and unique models, some of which will be auctioned off. Highlighting the sale is Blei’s pink gold “Stelline” Oyster Perpetual Chronometer with star indexes estimated at $260,000-$320,000 followed by a “Paul Newman” Cosmograph Daytona, complete with white dial, black accent sub-dials, and applied gold indexes on a stainless steel canvas; the time piece is estimated tat $58,000-$87,00. A preview of collection up for auction will be held next week at Asprey in London. March can’t come soon enough for Rolex collectors and enthusiasts alike, and the auction will sure to be a highlight of Milan society.
