Mad Hatter

1 Blue at the Regent Bal Harbour will be hosting a fabulous Mad Hatters Tea Party on Friday, July 18. From 3:00 -5:00pm, guests will sip Champagne and eat delectable food while donning their favorite hats alongside fellow friends and socialites alike. Prepared by Gerdy Rodriquez, 1 Blue’s red-hot Executive Chef, dishes include delicious tea sandwiches like black current tea smoked chicken salad, cucumber with chive scented cream cheese, and goat cheese and mascarpone fig and honey, in addition to tasty pastries like baked scones, chocolate éclairs, and fresh fruit tartlets. The event, priced at $75 per ticket, will feature a fashion show presented by Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour. The esteemed department store will also offer all guests a complimentary goody bag: a fashionable treat to top off the exquisite gala.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Dress For Success, Miami, an affiliate of the international non-profit organization committed to helping women become more self-sufficient through economic independence. Founded in 1996 by Nancy Lublin, who used a $5,000 inheritance from her great-grandfather to build the organization, Dress For Success provides professional attire, support, and career development tools for disadvantaged women in 85 cities across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., New Zealand, and the Netherlands.
