Remy Martin Cognac Louis XIII hosts birthday party at The Forge for Kamal Hotchandani
After his 1983 victory over the greatest boxer of all time Muhammed Ali, Larry Holmes became the world champion in the heavyweight category. He celebrated by filling his trophy with Louis XIII. Twenty-five years later, Lennox Lewis toasted Kamal Hotchandani, publisher of Haute Living, with Louis XIII at his exclusive birthday celebration at The Forge on Wednesday, April 16, 2008.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by a Champagne reception, which was followed by a five-course dinner in The Forge’s exclusive Wine Cellar, hosted by Shareef Malnik, Antonio Misuraca, and Michael Dunlap of Rolls-Royce. The grand finale featured a “Louis XIII Moment”-a toast led by Remi Brabant, Louis XIII’s brand ambassador, which took place in the Wine Cellar’s most privileged salon, rarely open to the public. Guests included Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks of the Miami Heat, James Posey, and Lennox Lewis.
