The $6 Million Ultimate Home Theater

So you’ve furnished your multi-million dollar mansion. It’s fully decked out with the latest oversized flat screens, an even bigger indoor pool, four tennis courts, and of course, you just had to have that rooftop driving range (just in case Mr. Woods should pop by). Now the only thing it’s missing is a state-of-the-art home theater.

If your typical high-end home theater comes equipped with rows of plush seats, velvet wallpaper, and popcorn machines offering Cadillac levels of performance and luxury, then Jeremy Kipnis’ $6 million ultimate home theater is more like a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the fastest Ferrari ever built. Yes, it’s comfortable and beautiful, but its prime directive is a quest for nothing but the best.

Kipnis calls his creation the Kipnis Studio Standard, and if all goes according to plan, wealthy movie industry professionals, actors, directors, and producers will be lining up to commission him to custom-design and build a KSS for their very own homes. The ultra-high resolution (4,096 x 2,160) picture is projected from a Sony SRX-R110 Digital Cinema Projector, producing four times the resolution of 1080p image. The 8.8 channel audio system uses 16 18-inch subwoofers, the reason why the KSS is easily the most effortlessly powerful home theater. Unlike many other high-end home theaters, the KSS was designed to present picture and sound beyond that found in even the most top-notch screening rooms.

Kipnis has spared no expense to build the very best. So if it’s between the indoor bowling alley and the Kipnis Ultimate Home Theater system, we think we know which one you’ll choose.
