James Hotel Proposes a Proposal Package

You’ve been dating for almost two years now. You’ve met the parents, summered in Saint-Tropez together, and have vaguely discussed the names of your unborn children. It’s time to pop the question, and what better (also read: cheesier) time to do it than on Valentine’s Day? The James Hotel in Chicago makes this grand feat a little easier as they now offer a proposal package that includes a Van Cleef & Arpels engagement ring, private dinner for two with personal wait staff, a chef and four-string quartet from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the ultimate couples spa experience at The Spa, a two-night stay in the penthouse and a one year anniversary gift from The James. Accommodations in the Penthouse also come with a personal assistant (much needed), the use of an Audi A8L and driver (but of course), complimentary personal training session for two (you need it more than she does), the use of your very own personal Apple iBook (although we don’t recommend catching up on work), fresh flowers daily (to set the mood), and a well-stocked bar (in case she says no).

So if you want to take the guess work out of proposing (and combine two invariably expensive days into one), this is probably your best bet. Although you may not end up saving much in the end as packages starts at $50,000.
