Cosmetically altered socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, sometimes referred to as the “Lion Queen” or “‘Cat Woman,” is the latest buyer at the Plaza.
Jocelyn Wilden was formerly married to Alec Wildenstein, son of Daniel Wildenstein. Daniel was the owner of Wildenstein & Co., one of the world’s largest and most successful art conglomerates. Hoping to hold onto her hubby, she began a series of plastic surgeries after confronting her husband about his alleged affair and was later awarded tens of millions of dollars in their divorce proceedings.
The former “Bride of Wildenstein” just closed on a fifth-floor apartment for $7.96 million. The park-fronting pad has 3,000 square feet, three bedrooms, and three baths. “It will be a very exciting place to live,” feline-faced Jocelyn was previously overheard purring. “I can’t wait until it’s ready.” And, we imagine, neither can her neighbors, Harry Macklowe, James Cayne, and New England Patriot owner Robert Kraft.
