When one thinks wine, they usually think Napa, not Naples. And even then, that would probably be Naples, Italy.

But Naples, Florida has once again produced a top-notch wine festival-and a profitable one, to boot-as the Naples Wine Festival drew an impressive $14 million this year, all for charity. No, not quite the $15.6 million that last year’s festival garnered, but a successful result nonetheless.

With an entrance fee of $7,500 per couple, the festival featured a number of expensive auction items, including several rare cars, bottles of wine, walk-on appearances on television shows, and trips to the Oscars and international fashion shows.

With 500 in attendance, the festival, in its eighth year, brought its total money raised to an astonishing $70 million.
