Rockers put So Cal homes up for sale

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson, who has been drawing attention for years with his “unique” rock n’ roll approach, and former Blink 182 guitarist Tom DeLonge are both in the news for their real estate ventures in Southern California.

Manson, whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner, sold his Chatsworth-area home(in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley) for $1.025 million, just shy of the listed price of $1.1 million.  The 1937 home sits on .55 acres, and features an oversize living room and a theater room, among other indoor amenities, along with a pool and covered cabana.

DeLonge, who has been involved with the supergroup Angels & Airwaves, as well as Box Car Racer, since he left Blink 182 a few years ago, has listed his home, in Rancho Santa Fe, California, for between $6.25 million and $6.295 million (sources are conflicting.) The home, built in 2003, features 6,500 square feet, four bedrooms, six bathrooms, and an attached guesthouse. DeLonge purchased the San Diego-area home in 2005 for $5.5 million.

Now those are some hard-rockin’ homes.
