You know you’re talking about a big house when it used to be used for office space.
And you’d better be talking about a big house if it is priced to sell at approximately $185 million.
Such is the situation for this 20,000-square-foot monster pad located in Belgrave Square. In order to fit the mold of “luxury house”, instead of, say, $185 million office building, there have been several homey additions, such as a gym and swimming pool. There are also 12 bedrooms (just in case 11 wasn’t quite enough), and relaxing views of an expensive neighborhood that boasts Saudi sheikh Walid Juffali among its residents.
The seller, believed to be steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, would stand to make a generous profit off the home, which records show he paid approximately $105 million for – way back in 2004.
Solland Developments is responsible for the lavish refurbishments, and, after taking one look, you might just wish you had $185 million to throw around.
We sure wish we did.
