Jerry Bruckheimer was the recipient of American Cinematheque’s 27th award on Thursday.

The producer of blockbuster films such as Top Gun, The Rock, Black Hawk Down and Pirates of the Caribbean was celebrated by a slew of celebrities at the Dec. 12th ceremony, which was held at the Beverly Hilton.

Bruce Willis presented him with the award, while Helen Mirran, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Jon Voight were on hand at the ceremony; Johnny Depp pre-recorded a message as well.

Bruckheimer is the first movie producer to be honored with this award in American Cinematheque’s 27-year history.

The ceremony was also a benefit for the organization, which operates two theaters in Southern California that show classic films and provides activities and an outlet for film lovers.
