Marina Bay Sands Honors Gucci Lineage With Jackie Display

News | June 4, 2012

The Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is honoring one of Gucci’s most revered collections with the Jackie Special Display.

The Jackie handbags began as just the preferred choice for First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and as the bags became more frequently associated with the fashion icon they simply became known as “The Jackie.”

Marina Bay Sands is featuring five of the original styles as well as the latest incarnation of the line designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini.

The New Jackie is simply an updated version of the bag that remains true to Gucci’s commitment to style and luxury.

Guests are also enjoying the opportunity to explore the new Made-to-Order program for bamboo bags, which will allow the customer to choose the size, swatch pattern and hardware color on their bags. The interior of the bags can also be personalized with the customer’s initials.

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is one of the world’s great luxury hotel destinations offering fine dining, shopping and entertainment.
