Hotspot Casa Sensei Opens in Fort Lauderdale
Nestled in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, Casa Sensei features an innovative take on Pan-Asian cuisine while incorporating the dynamic culinary traditions of Latin America. Owner Victor H. Diaz hopes the restaurant’s diverse menu of Asian dishes will bring a new dynamic flavor and dining concept to the Las Olas restaurant and bar scene.

The waterfront restaurant hosted a grand opening on Friday, November 30th, with owners Victor H.Diaz, Patricia Lara and Executive Chef and owner Richard Huant, inviting South Florida’s local VIPs, culinary media and city officials to a sunset soiree. Guests enjoyed a selection of complimentary bites from Casa Sensei’s menu, including a 10-foot sushi boat overflowing with over 400 specialty rolls.
Casa Sensei will boast an array of dishes to accommodate almost any craving, Chef Richard Huang meticulously prepares every platter to perfection. Notable entrees include the Mongolian Peking Duck, Korean Steak with chimichurri and Korean BBQ Bulgogi. All entrees will leave your mouth watering and craving more. Cocktails are carefully crafted and the liquor is expertly selected. Specialty drinks include the Nikka Fashion, serves with Nikka Coffee Japanese Whiskey, cocoa powder and mole bitters; and the Kentucky Sake, a combination of Noble Oak Bourbon, Joto Yuzu Sale, ginger liqueur and Free Brothers plum bitters.

The restaurant features two private dining rooms, a private VIP space, a dockside al fresco dining area with a Zen garden and two waterfront terraces overlooking Las Olas. In partnership with Riverfront Gondola Tours, guests can reserve a 90-minute gondola ride as they dine on some of Casa Sensei’s delicious dishes.
Located at 1200 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Casa Sensei is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
