The acclaimed Sunny Isles spa is the first in the country to launch the Sound Care Ritual, which was created originally for medical use. For decades, music has been used as a healing tool by medical professionals to help alleviate pain and anxiety during care. The French-based music application has been clinically proven by neuroscience researchers to provide natural calm and aid with sleep disorder, pain management, stress and anxieties. Using the same thought process, the innovative professionals at Acqualina Spa by ESPA decided to translate this into a relaxing spa experience that incorporates the healing sounds with an 80-minute massage.

During the unique spa journey, guests are invited into one of the spa’s gorgeous, oceanfront suites to unwind. The experience begins with a nourishing foot massage as the guest sits back with an iPad and sound-blocking headphones to choose a song of their liking, ranging from soundtracks of the beach, classical jazz, rainforests and more. Guests are encouraged to choose whatever soundtrack goes best with their desired spa journey as they sit back and relax to the soothing massage and music. The foot massage then leads into an aromatherapy massage, targeting physical tensions and emotional anxieties. Each experience in the soundtrack sets are specifically conducted with Sound Care algorithms that are proven to be soothing, relaxing and leave the mind, body and spirit grounded in perfect harmony.
