Parachute Opens First Ever Permanent NYC Retail Location

Parachute’s first ever permanent New York City retail location is officially open as of Friday, May 18.

Located on Grand Street, in the heart of Soho, the warm and inviting space features all of the elements of a true home, including a living room, fully-functioning kitchen, dining/entertaining space, a vanity area (with an operating sink), and a bedroom.

The space will also be completely experiential so the brand can host events, activations, and dinners throughout each month. This will allow consumers to fully immerse themselves in the Parachute lifestyle.

To create a space that felt authentically New York, the new Parachute store also features furniture and fixtures from various New York-based artists such as a natural wood table from Brooklyn-based Millworker, Rooted Design & Build, and a brass art installation from Brooklyn-based artist Rodger Stevens.

Since Parachute launched in 2014, founder Ariel Kaye is leading one of the fastest growing home essentials brands out of Venice, California. She started with bedding and has since expanded into several additional categories including bath, tabletop, and a baby collection.

Aside from the brand new New York location, there are two other storefronts in Venice Beach and Portland – as well as a unique hotel concept, The Parachute Hotel.
