SF’s Social Swans Live It Up At Paris Fashion Week

Twice a year Haute Living’s fashion editor-at-large, Sonya Molodetskaya, heads to France to attend Paris Fashion Week. For the Fall 2018 collections, Molodetskaya invited her gal pals to join the fun. Farah Makras, Sobia Shaikh, and Mary Beth Shimmon are currently in Paris attending a whirlwind of shows and parties. With two blondes, one redhead, and one brunette, the quartet are giving the stylish characters of Sex and the City a run for their money! Valentino, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Dior—Molodetskaya and Co. are checking out all of the best collections and presumably shopping for looks that they can’t find in San Francisco.

Another local style star, Chrisa Pappas, is also in Paris for the presentations. Pappas has been reporting about her favorite collections—Lowe, Isabel Marant, and Dior—on her blog. Designer Andrew Gn chose Pappas to be the featured influencer on the day of his show and Pappas gave the brand’s Instagram followers an exciting behind-the-scenes view of Gn’s gorgeous looks. The temperature in Paris is frigid and Pappas gets the award for most-stunning outer wear. She wore Dior’s cave drawing coat and Gn’s pink floral cape—two distinct jackets that illustrated Pappas’ fashion prowess and chameleon-like style.
