The first weekend of 2018 was off to a fantastic start as Beach Polo World Cup returned to the sands of the W South Beach for a very VIP affair. The three-day event brought in the likes of celebs from all over the country including Shark Tank‘s Kevin O’Leary and Daymond JohnSex and the City writer Candace BushnellAlexis Stoudemire, Jeremy Shockey and former Victoria’s Secret model Inés Rivero.

The A-listers enjoyed the exciting lineup of polo matches from Friday through Sunday in the comfort of the gorgeous VIP lounge where they had a front-row view of the action. Inside, they enjoyed sips of Macallan, Chateau d’Esclan and La Croix, as well as bites of gourmet food like empanadas, charcuterie platters, pasta, meat dishes and more.

Throughout the weekend, six teams of the world’s top players competed for the Beach Polo World Cup including Nic Roldan, Ricardo Mansur, Rommy Gianni and Juan Bollini. On Saturday, the tournament featured the Bal Harbour Village Women’s Cup and on Sunday the teams came together for a charity match supporting the event’s official charity partner, The Bass Museum.

Following the charity match, the traditional awards ceremony ensued, which commemorated the winners of the competition. The La Martina team including Riley Ganzi, Juan Bollini and Jesse Bray earned the winning title of Beach Polo World Cup while Nic Roldan of the Macallan team was named MVP.

“We couldn’t be more excited to see our vision come to fruition with the return of Beach Polo World Cup. VIP guests were treated to gift bags courtesy of Acqua Di Parma upon departure as they ended the experience in style.
