The MLB legend was welcomed into Miami as he takes on his new position as owner of the Miami Marlins by none other than Diddy with a star-studded dinner party at Miami hot spot, Komodo. The dinner kicked off REVOLT weekend in style, presented by Diddy’s own Ciroc French Vanilla vodka. And it was a celebration for all as fellow stars DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, French Montana, Prince Royce, Cassie and James Cruz joined in on the celebratory occasion for Derek Jeter.

Owner Dave Grutman ensured the night was a special one as Komodo curated a delicious menu of the spot’s specialties like the Tuna &Toro Roll, Lobster Dynamite, Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Grutman Pastrami Egg Roll, the delectable Peking Duck and the Komodo Baked Alaska for dessert. Of course, the dinner was paired with specialty cocktails from Ciroc French Vanilla. At the end of the meal, Diddy stood up to dedicate a toast to Derek Jeter, welcoming him to the Miami family and congratulating him on his new team as diners in the restaurant all eagerly looked on.

And of course, the party did not stop there—in typical Miami style, the festivities continued late into the wee hours of the morning with a jam-packed after party at STORY Miami where rappers OT Genasis and Flo Rida came by to party with the crew. They sipped none other than Ciroc throughout the night and Diddy and girlfriend Cassie were spotted cozying up at the intimate table. The celebration was the first of many epic celebrations set to follow throughout REVOLT Music Conference Weekend, holding its fort down at The Nobu Eden Roc Hotel.
