The Most Delicious Brunch Spots In San Francisco
We’ve spent many an hour asking the age-old eternal question, where should we go to brunch? We’ve also spent many an hour eating brunch all over the city. This makes us experts in brunch in San Francisco. Since we love sharing our secrets, here are our favorite spots for brunch.
Belga
At this bustling Belgian-inspired brasserie in Cow Hollow, enjoy oysters on the half shell, housemade sausages, croque-madames with smoked ham and a fried sunny-side up egg, and classic cocktails—we love their French 75.
Fiorella
This neighborhood gem in Outer Richmond has a charming back patio. Have a seat there and order up polenta French toast and vegetable frittatas with white peach bellinis, or a savory breakfast pizza with broccoli, house-cured pancetta, and an egg cracked on the middle.
Presidio Social Club
From fried eggs with crispy potatoes and grilled chorizo to Vietnamese-style sandwiches, there’s a brunch for everyone at Presidio Social Club, which just celebrated its 10th anniversary. Your brunch must: amazing brioche beignets with brown sugar hot chocolate.
Park Tavern
North Beach’s all-American tavern offers an assortment of toast, pancakes fresh off the griddle, and smoked salmon Benedict with horseradish cream. The cast-iron baked farm eggs with exquisite Serrano ham and gruyère are our personal favorite, especially paired with a delicate grapefruit mimosa.
Zazie
For the past 25 years the team at Zazie has faithfully served brunch to hungry and hung over San Franciscans at its charming Cole Valley restaurant. Unlike some eateries that only serve brunch on weekends, Zazie is open every day of the week. The chefs offer seven different types of Benedict (with bacon, white cheddar, and salsa fresca, the Albert is our favorite), eight scrambles, and plenty of items off the griddle. The gingerbread pancakes with Meyer lemon curd and Bosc pears is a must try.
The Farm at Carneros
Okay, so The Farm isn’t in San Francisco, it’s in Napa, but it happens to be the best brunch in wine country. It’s a four-course prix-fix of inventive and delicious dishes. Learn all about it now.
