Food network star and North Bay native Guy Fieri cooked for the Oakland Raiders late last week. The Raiders are in Napa for training camp and Fieri rolled over a mobile grill that allowed him to prepare huli huli chicken, a traditional Hawaiian dish. While there, Fieri gave Mashawn Lynch a quick little cooking lesson.

Something Rotten! opened its first national tour at SHN’s Orpheum Theatre on Thursday night. Fans of Mel Brooks-inspired humor will enjoy the musical spoof that is set during Shakespeare’s time. The show is in town from now until September 10.

The San Francisco Ballet hosted their second Unbound Live event on Friday afternoon. Anyone with access to the company’s Facebook page was able to watch the dancers in rehearsal. Choreographers Christopher Wheeldon, Myles Thatcher, and Justin Peck were in the studio teaching the dancers new works which will be performed next year at the first ever Unbound: A Festival of New Works. Artistic Director Helgi Tomasson has commissioned 12 new works from internationally renowned choreographers and the pieces will be the extravagant finish to the 2018 season.
