Weekend Roundup: UFC Fighters Take Over Las Vegas
UFC 213 took over the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night, and many of the winning fighters celebrated at the restaurants and nightclubs of Las Vegas.
Hakkasan at the MGM Grand Hotel hosted the Official UFC International Fight Week After Party with special appearances by reigning UFC bantamweight champion Cody “No Love” Garbrandt and official UFC Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer.
The fighter arrived at the nighttime hot spot around 11 p.m. with a large group of guests and headed to the Ling Ling Club.
Fans cheered when Buffer made his appearance and took over the microphone for an epic introduction for Garbrandt, mimicking his famous UFC Octagon introductions.
Also spotted at the famed nightlife destination were UFC Welterweight fighter Stephen Thompson, actress Kaitlin Olson, actor Rob McElhenney and Game of Thrones producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff.
Over at Hyde Bellagio, former MMA welterweight champion Brian “The Mantis” Camozzi hosted an explosive fight-night after party after his bout with Chad Laprise during UFC 213.
Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas rolled out the red carpet for two of the fiercest female MMA fighters in UFC during after-parties on Friday and Saturday night in honor of the 2017 UFC International Fight Week.
After participating in the Women of UFC panel and autograph sessions, Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson hosted the Friday after-party, arriving at the club with her husband, Joshua Gomez, and a group of friends.
Following the surprise cancellation of her fight against Amanda Nunes, Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko arrived at Chateau on Saturday with a large group of friends. Opting for casual jeans paired with a blue long-sleeved shirt with an intricate, golden design, she posed for photos on the red carpet before entering her soiree. The decorated kick boxer and muay thai fighter enjoyed her private VIP booth and bottle service, while mingling with fans.
Finally UFC fighter Anthony Pettis hosted a meet and greet at Sugar Factory American Brasserie at the Fashion Show on Sunday. Pettis surprised everyone by bringing his brother and fellow fighter, Sergio Pettis.
