New Era Cap, the official cap of the MLB, hosted your not-so-typical Sunday soirée this weekend with celebrities including former Yankee Alex Rodriguez, iconic Fear of God fashion designer Jerry Lorenzo (who has also been hosting a pop-up at The Alchemist all weekend with New Era Cap for his 59Fifty caps), MLB all-star Bryce Harper, the ever so talented Jennifer Lopez and more. With the A-listers inside, along with top-notch DJs, the MLB All-Star Game Party hit a home run, bringing sizzling energy to the 1 Hotel South Beach. Guests sipped on specialty Tequila Don Julio cocktails such as The Wild Card made with Tequila Don Julio Reposado, passion fruit purée, agave, lime juice and fresh jalapeño, created by renowned mixologist Julio Cabrera, while VIPs enjoyed an exclusive Don Julio 1942 tasting bar. Micah Johnson of the Atlanta Braves created a painting live in front of the VIP crowd, to be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Miami. Guests enjoyed a special performance from Aminé and a DJ set by Metro Boomin.
The Masterpass House Hosts Jennifer Hudson and David Ortiz
Mastercard’s starlit events at The Masterpass House ushered in buzzworthy excitement this MLB All-Star Weekend. On Saturday, July 8, Stand Up To Cancer ambassador Jennifer Hudson stunned audiences with a powerhouse performance. But the haute weekend didn’t end there. Closing off the VIP events, David Ortiz brought some “Big Papi” energy on Sunday to his Sunset BBQ where he surprised cancer survivor and Red Sox fan Geoff Blanck with a meet and greet.
