Invictus New 240CX: Superyacht Design In A Compact Package
Superyacht design is moving over toward more compact boats, of which Invictus new 240CX is a prime example. Strong lines and a wrap around windshield are just a few places in which the 240CX shows its design prowess, as well as Italian heritage.
Responsible for this is designer Christian Grande, who follows the Italian tradition that functionality and tradition can make a perfect marriage. In the 240CX this is evident by the large interior space, especially when you consider that the boat is only 7.45 meters long and features a 2.5-meter beam.
Yet below deck, you are welcomed by a generously sized bed and plenty of natural light. There is ample storage space, and even the toilet is discretely integrated into the interior.
On top deck, you find the vertical steering position that gives you full control over the 240CX. A lot of attention has been paid as to how the boat cuts through the water to maximize performance and ride comfort, as well as to give you optimum control at high and low speeds.
A fold-away bimini, which covers the whole living area, ensures that even in the full sun, the 240CX is still the place to be. The finish of this new Invictus is superb. Not only thanks to the use of top-of-the-line materials and superb craftsmanship, but also thanks to just the right contrast between colors and textures. Although it is not so obvious, and never should be, this increases the whole experience you have onboard.
Regarding power, the 240CX can handle up to 250HP, more than sufficient to get you where you want to go in a hurry.
The Invictus 240CX will officially be presented during the Cannes Yachting Festival, on 12-17 September of this year.
