Haute Living kicked off Thursday evening with a celebration for its latest Miami cover star, Rick Ross, at hot spot Marion for its legendary Thursday night party. Gracing the covers of the May issue of the magazine posed amidst private jets and luxury automobiles at mph Club, Miami’s undisputed Boss talked about his newly-released album, Rather You Than Me, as well as his family, personal life, business endeavors and finest luxuries.
The opus is one of Ross’ most riveting compilations filled with passion, controversy and realism, symbolic of everything the star represents. “I put more passion and time in the project, and I was a lot more open with everything. I didn’t even realize it until the album was complete, but I heard how I matured as an artist with the topics I discussed, and my style, flow and skill that all contributed to the music brought everything together exactly the way I wanted it to,” Ross noted when discussing the final product of Rather You Than Me. And he certainly did, leaving room for a well deserved evening to honor the star in his favorite city.

Making an entrance like the Boss that he is, Ross pulled up in an eye-catching white Rolls-Royce, literally causing a traffic jam along the streets of Brickell outside of Marion, where fans were reaching out of their car windows to try to have a moment with the star. Sipping Belaire Rosé, he posed in the car and in the middle of the street for fans to capture on their phones, making the entrance all the more grandiose.

As the group finally made their way inside the restaurant amidst flashing cameras, guests were greeting by the stunning, intimate wine cellar at the French brasserie. Ross was joined by notables such as Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Mathieu Massa, Michael Ridard and more.

Dinner specials highlighted Marion’s specialties—of course rich in truffle—including the Octopus a la plancha, Burrata Twenty-Five Tomatoes, Wagyu Beef Sliders, Black Truffle Pizzeta, Dry Aged Ribeye with Bone Marrow, Smoke Roast Sea bass, a Risotto hot pot and more. Dessert included a decadent assortment of desserts and fruits, complete with flaming bottles of Belaire Rosé. At the end of the meal, artist Flore presented Ross with a special custom painting to commemorate the evening and Ross’ legendary cover debut. Following dinner, the group continued the celebrations as Marion’s famous nighttime entertainment kicked off with a flaming bar, flaming bottles of champagne, blasting music and ever-flowing bottle service at VIP tables.
