Haute Secrets: ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ Star Michael Rooker

If you’ve seen Michael Rooker in the last few years, you might think he’s been looking, well, a little blue. That’s because the Alabama-born actor has painted in a head-to-toe cerulean hue to play Yondu, a renegade space pirate, in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, a role he’ll reprise this Friday, May 5, when Guardians of the Galaxy 2 hits movie theaters.  been Yondu in the highly anticipated sequel GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2. The film follows the same group of galactic underdogs—played by Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista and Vin Diesel—who are ready to save the universe yet again. That said, the sequel is Yondu’s breakout moment, as audiences are set to delve deeper into his past. Rooker also appeared in Blumhouse Tilt’s indie horror The Belko Experiment this past March, aOn March 17th, a terrifying yet humorous look at a group of employees that become guinea pigs in a company-wide experiment that leads them to either kill their fellow employees or be killed themselves. Otherwise, you might recognize Rooker from AMC’s The Walking Dead, as well as shows like Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, Las Vegas, Law and Order, and Archer, among others and films such as Mississippi Burning; Sea of Love; JFK; Tombstone and Jumper.  Here, this intergalactic badass shares his haute secrets to the City of Angels.
