Inside Carine Roitfeld CR Fashion Book Bash with Karl Lagerfeld

Fashion Weeks thrive on parties. lots of them, but there are always a handful of buzzy, buzzy events that fashion honchos, no matter how severe the jet lag or runway show fatigue, would dare to miss. Last week during the Paris RTW collections, one of the must-attend events was in celebration of the 10th issue of the much followed, directional CR Fashion Book, helmed by Carine Roitfeld, the international style icon, who is also the former editor of Vogue France.

A roster of fashion heavy hitters turned out to raise a glass to Roitfeld, among them Karl Lagerfeld, Olivier Rousteing, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Sara Sampaio, Jordan Barrett, Lily Donaldson, Jourdan Dunn, CR Fashion Book Ltd. president Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, Isabelle Adjani, Troy Young, Gabriela Hearst, Delphine Arnault, Xavier Niel, Glenda Bailey, the EIC of Harper’s Bazaar; Peter Philips, Barbara Palvin, Grace Elizabeth, Neels Visser, Remo Ruffini, Caroline de Maigret, Audrey Marnay, Michael Burke, Bettina Rheims, Jean Touitou, Caroline Vreeland, Chiara Ferragni, Elena Perminova, Etienne Russo, Gabriel Kane Lewis, Martine Sitbon, Marc Ascoli, Simon Porte Jacquemus, Sébastien Meyer, and Arnaud Vaillant.

On stands now, the issue features dual covers with Paris Jackson and Halima Aden, both shot by Mario Sorrenti. CR Men’s Book featured artist Gucci Mane on its cover, shot by Terry Richardson. This marks the first fashion covers for all three stars.

CR Fashion Book Issue 10, is also now part of the newly formed CR Fashion Book Ltd. led by president, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld. It is also the first issue to be produced by PubWorX, a joint venture between Hearst Magazines and Condé Nast. Hearst Magazines Digital Media is CR Fashion Book’s digital publishing partner.
