Yoga Enthusiasts Can Now Shop for Luxe Threads at Lululemon WeHo

Yoga enthusiasts, rejoice: the high-end yoga brand of choice, lululemon, has opened its doors in the West Hollywood Design District.

The new, 2,750 square foot store is a re-location from the Robertson Boulevard space. Local designer collaborations have brought the space to life, including a partnership with Los Angeles-based designer and manufacturer Arktura.

The Melrose boutique has modern ivy leaf-inspired patterns throughout the interior and exterior of the building, along with the use of reclaimed red wood and iron spot brick to highlight the architectural components of the space.

The shop’s interiors feature luxurious elements, including a suspended ceiling, integrated living plant installation, metal post fitting rooms, custom feature lighting by ANDLight and a concrete community picnic table by 5 Feet from the Moon and custom lounge seating by Bend Goods for personal shopping experience to inspire real conversation and connection.

Its design is sweet: the brand manages to retain its cool and high-end sensibility while still paying homage to its home neighbor by weaving in elegant design details. If offers a posh, minimalist look that is swiftly experienced upon stepping into the front door. Melrose’s Store design is as crafted as the products that are available inside, with a focus on local customization representing the connection, intersection and collection of people, pursuits and ideas.

For those unfamiliar with the brand (you either live under a rock or haven’t set food in Santa  Monica) lululemon is a yoga-inspired athletic apparel company with products that, according to the brand, “create transformational experiences for people to live happy, healthy, fun lives.” The clothing options are trendy, fit well and are functional given that they’re crafted with technical fabrics and functional designs. The brand also works with yogis and athletes in local communities for continuous research and product feedback.
