Carmelo Anthony, Haute Time and teammates from the USA Men’s basketball team made their final stop in Houston before heading off to Rio for the 2016 Olympics. The team embarked on a national tour to cities including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and finally Houston, gearing up to take their talents abroad to Rio. To celebrate, the group joined Dr. Devinder Bhatia, Gina Bhatia and friends at their gorgeous private residence in Houston for an intimate dinner. Hublot, Avión Reserva 44 and JetSmarter all partnered in the evening festivities.

Basketball stars Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant both received special timepieces from Hublot to honor their successful athletic careers, which were presented to them at the event. Carmelo was presented with the special Big Bang Unico Titanium Bracelet, an impressive and complex timepiece created with 330 hand-assembled components. Durant received the equally remarkable Classic Fusion Titanium King Gold. Both flaunted the watches as they mingled outside throughout the pool area of the estate. An additional selection of some of Hublot’s finest timepieces were also delicately displayed on the dinner tables for guests to admire throughout the night.

Guests sat down for a delicious meal in the pool house and adjoining wine cellar prepared by Jackson and Company Catering, indulging in a savory Chicken Chasseur, light Grilled Seabass and sweet desserts including the Frozen Lemon Soufflé, Sacher Torte and the Classic Crème Brûlée. The meal was perfectly complimented by sips of Avión Reserva 44, of which guests toasted to celebrate the team’s success and upcoming departure to Rio.
