Fashion Star Winner Unveils Stunning Collection
Fashion Star winner Arwa Alammari debuted her coveted line exclusively on Namshi.com. Fashionistas throughout the UAE flocked in hordes to the site to acquire designs in the Fashion Star’s winning collection.
Dramatic pieces in premium fabrics are absolute show-stoppers in this nine-piece collection of gowns, dresses and coordinates designed with utmost style and elegance. In true Arwa style, her Saudi Arabian inspired pieces speak to the Modern East girl: confident, dramatic and totally fashion-forward.
Namshi has worked with internationally acclaimed fashion model, Kamila Wawrzyniak, to showcase Arwa’s collection online. Having previously worked for designers such as John Galliano, Christian Dior, Elie Saab, GUESS and the famous Vivienne Westwood, Kamila flaunts all of the pieces to perfection.

Anisha Misra Launches Fashion Label & Inaugural Collection
Anisha Misra, the talented fashion designer behind the brand ‘Anisha Misra’, debuted her inaugural spring/summer collection at an exclusive fashion soirée to showcase her first collection ‘Antiquity Revived’ at a fashion show celebrating the launch at Sass Café, Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).
Inspired by historical textiles, architecture and antiques, the spring/summer collection by the Anisha Misra label unveiled hand stitched gowns and outfits made using beautiful fabrics, and innovative design details.
The debut collection will consist of 19 brilliantly fashioned and unique pieces to fit formal occasions; made in rich colors reflecting the golden era of the 80’s and 90’s.
The collection will capture the essence of Dubai by creating a balance of classic luxury and modernity and making use of materials such as pure silk satins, embellished nets, chiffons, French Chantilly lace and Korean lace.
Speaking about the upcoming launch of her brand and collection, Anisha Misra, said: “I am extremely excited to finally take my next big step in the fashion industry. My first collection, as with most designers, is very close to my heart because it focuses on occasion wear and formal attire.”

London-based Designer Kristina Stets Shines at COYA
Budding designer Kristina Stets’ introduced her collection “White Instinct” at COYA in Dubai. Representing a strong modern woman in a cosmopolitan city, her capsule collection in the Middle East aims to share the message and image of strength in a well-dressed woman. The collection was displayed on models in a trunk show format throughout the evening.
Born in Ukraine, Kristina Stets moved to Italy as a teenager. Having studied Fashion Design in Milan at the Instituto di Moda Burgo, she moved to London to complete her study at the Central Saint Martins.Living in London, Kristina worked for a number of womenswear designers where she trained and acquired in-depth knowledge of design techniques, patter cutting and a great eye for details.
Influenced by her multi-cultural experience, Kristina set up her own label as a contemporary brand tainted of elegance and sexy modern shapes. Her work reflect her passion for design and understanding of the 21st century women. Kristina uses luxury and innovative Italian fabrics for her collection which is hand-made manufactured in London.
