Harvey Weinstein and Burberry Host a Haute BAFTA Dinner

Harvey Weinstein is known for hosting legendary parties, and his pre-BAFTA soiree with Burberry certainly kept up tradition.
The Weinstein Company chief welcomed over 100 guests at Little House Mayfair on Friday night including Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, David Glasser, directors Ridley Scott and Stephen Daldry, producers Stephen Wooley and Elizabeth Karlsen, actors Idris Elba, Luke Evans, Cate Blanchett, Emilia Clark, Dakota Johnson, Kristen Scott Thomas, Jenna Coleman and star of the upcoming Mr Burberry fragrance campaign, Amber Anderson.

This is the third year that Burberry has partnered with Weinstein to host this event, which celebrates the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).
Burberry has a long-standing history of supporting and celebrating creative talent – from film and fashion to music and theatre, through a series of global events and initiatives including BAFTA Breakthrough Brits, Burberry Acoustic, runway shows, brand events and the support of emerging talent awards.

The brand recently took over Los Angeles for one of the best social events of the season—a fashion show which brought out the likes of Elton John, Anna Wintour, Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, Mila Kunis, Tang Wei, Elton John, David Furnish, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jason Statham, January Jones, Anna Wintour, Mario Testino, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Kevin Systrom, Jamie Bell, Rose Byrne, Jamie King, Kate Beckinsale, Matt Bellamy, Kiernan Shipka, Aaron and Lauren Paul, Tom Felton and Ellie Goulding and even David and Victoria Beckham, this past April. The brand also celebrated the 2016 Academy Awards recently by hosting an event at its Beverly Hills store in celebration of the film Brooklyn and its Oscar-nominated star, Saoirse Ronan.
