STK is Back with Magnum Mondays

When the Perry closed over two years ago for a complete overhaul, one of Miami’s favorite places to go for steak with a side of scene disappeared too. Of course, STK carried on in other cities like Atlanta, New York, DC and Vegas, so die-hard fans could still get a taste of their rack of lamb with maple sweet potatoes or a peppercorn-crusted “mini-skirt” steak when the mood really struck, but those in the Magic City were out of luck.

Now that the iconic property is open (as the completely revamped 1 Hotel & Homes,) locals can once again get their steak on, just a few doors down from its original location in the building. The chic set who want to feel like they’re “in the mix” even when they are grabbing a bite, now have a perfect location to do this in STK, which has a buzzing lounge area and live DJ at all times.

The Monday night dinner party called Magnum Mondays is back too. After starting in Miami, the weekly dinner party became so popular that it now takes place at STK venues across the country, bringing beats and bubbly (in the form of $175 magnums of Veuve Cliquot). Dinner parties show STK at it’s best, showcasing the eatery’s dual personality as club-like hot spot with excellent cuisine, where the party gets started long before nightclubs even open their doors.

DJ Obscene and Danny Stern provide the soundtrack to the sultry night, which begin at 9pm and go till early the next morning. After said magnum, a bit of steak and table dancing, it will absolutely be time for their famous churro milkshake with mini churros, which STK has sensibly brought back along with everything that made it special the first time around.
