Given how tight Armani’s ties are with Hollywood, it was unsurprising how many stars turned up for the grand bash. A-listers like Leonardo DiCaprio and Cate Blanchett were on the scene, as were the infrequently seen Janet Jackson and Tina Turner as well as iconic beauty Sophia Loren.

After viewing the new space—roughly 48, 600 square feet on four levels—guests then headed to the Armani theater to view about 160 looks from the designer’s lifelong Privé collections over the years.
The evening also included a grand fashion show and a cocktail party accompanied by a DJ set.
