Scenes From The 2015 Los Angeles Ballet Gala

On May 7, the Los Angeles Ballet hosted its annual Gala—an evening of dining, drinking, art and haute couture.

Guests are the fete were greeted at the gates of the Beverly Wilshire by horsemen and a quarter dressed in period costumes playing Mozart.

Inside, after and awards presentation to philanthropist Ghada Irani and dinner, attendees were treated to a preview performance of master choreographer Jírí Kylián’s Sechs Tänze (Six Dances) to the music of Mozart.

Wendie Malick served as the evening’s emcee; Oscar de la Renta was the presenting sponsor and, as such, several of the Los Angeles Ballet dancers were dressed in designs from the Oscar de la Renta 2015 spring collection.

The evening was co-chaired by Dina Leeds and Jeanette Trepp. Guests included Paula Abdul, Wallis Annenberg, Lawrence Bender, Bari & Fred Bernstein, Barbara Davis, Nancy Davis, Linda Duttenhaver, Debra & Linda James Lustig, Jamie McCourt, Lori & Michael Milken, and Jessica Szohr & Scotty McKnight.
