Floris London Launches Scent With DIY Workshop
Luxury British perfumer Floris London is celebrating the launch of its new scent, Petals From My Garden, with a hands-on workshop taking place at the store’s decadent Belgravia locale. Using flowers that inspired the new fragrance, customers will have the chance to learn how to create unique floral decorations in a class run by the renowned Judith Blacklock Flower School.
Running exclusively on 25 February, between 6 and 8pm, this celebratory event aims to inform and delight customers of the brand’s new perfume and will also include a short masterclass in floral fragrances from the Floris perfumery team. As a capital that delights and stuns with its many parks and different flowers, there is no better time for the company to reveal the essence behind its scent whilst also giving a nod to its very British floral heritage. “Floris’ product has been made by hand on site since its inception. Providing customers with the experience of engaging with the brand using their own hands to create beauty will extend the memory as they leave taking a co-branded object that will remind them of their participation allowing for extended storytelling to take place in their homes with friends and family,” said Rebecca Miller, CEO of Miller & Company, who commented on the initiative as an industry expert.
Petals From My Garden is particularly poignant to the event, since it was inspired by childhood summers spent in blooming English gardens. The scent contains notes of lemon, bergamot, rose, neroli blossom, carnation, amber and musk and is hand-blended at the brand’s Jeremy Street flagship. Workshop attendees will be treated to an invigorating look into the scent through the instruction of the Judith Blacklock florists, who are responsible for creating stunning arrangements such as wedding bouquets and seasonal centrepieces. Floris London hope that customers will leave the workshop with not only an added understanding to what makes Petals From My Garden so special, but also with the confidence to create flower arrangements themselves from scratch.
