Uber has revolutionized the way city-dwellers get around town, offering hassle-free Taxi and rideshare service that’s tailor made for the digital age. Now, the company has minted a new partnership with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to give Uber users even more benefits for using the service.

Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts have announced a new rewards program that will give hotel guests that use the rideshare service points that can be turned in for travel rewards. After linking together your Uber and Starwood Preferred Guest accounts, and staying at a qualifying Starwood hotel worldwide, users can earn points simply by taking Uber rides anywhere in the world. All SPG members will earn one Starpoint for every dollar spent on Uber rides. The points multiply when users use Uber during their actual stay at a Starwood Hotel or resort. The partnership is available to Uber users across the globe, including the United States, China, Brazil, and Europe.

The two companies are kicking off their partnership by offering a “SPG #SuiteRide” in five participating cities around the world. On February 28, Uber riders who link their Starwood and Uber accounts and select the “SPG” vehicle option on the Uber app will be given a door-to-door branded hotel experience on wheels and 15,000 Starpoints – enough for a free night at a category 1-5 Starwood hotel. The special SPG vehicles will be available in London, Dubai, Mexico City, New York, and San Francisco from 2 to 7pm
