Cartier may have closed down its landmark Fifth Avenue store for renovations, but shoppers can still get their luxury fix at the brand’s new two-story boutique on 5th Avenue and 59th Street.

Located a mere seven blocks from the original Cartier locale, the new shop designed by Parisian architect Bruno Moinard measures an impressive 11,000 square feet, making it the largest location in the world. Featuring 22-foot ceilings, intricate chandeliers and rich oak paneling, the new boutique definitely epitomizes the standard of excellence that Cartier is best known for. There’s even special selling “salons” for watches, diamonds and accessories!

Though renovations for the original flagship are expected to be completed within two years, there have been rumblings that the new location may not be so temporary after all. “It absolutely could become permanent,”  Emmanuel Perrin, the president and chief executive of Cartier North America told the New York Times.
