Gucci has teamed up with Martin Scorsese’s The Film Foundation to restore James Dean’s classic 1950’s era film Rebel Without a Cause.

The haute Italian fashion house has now worked with Scorsese’s foundation for eight years, helping to restore films by directors such as John Cassavetes, Michelangelo Antonioni and Federico Fellini.

Its latest restoration, which co-stars Sal Mineo, Natalie Wood and Dennis Hopper, will be shown for the first time on Nov. 1 at LACMA’s Bing Theater.

One night later, Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini will host the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s third annual Art+Film Gala.
