Ladies and gentlemen, prepare your flutes for the ultimate Basel-beverage, Dom Pérignon by Jeff Koons. After debuting his Venus of Willendorf-inspired Balloon Venus for Dom Pérignon, a made-to-order sculpture that holds a special-edition Dom bottle, and is a steal at $20,000 (click here to see Martha Stewart and Donna Karan smiling like schoolgirls at the NYC launch party), the famous champagne has announced Dom Perignon by Jeff Koons, two slightly more accessible limited edition bottles. As can be imagined, the pink Venus is for the Rosé Vintage 2003 ($399), and the gold for the Blanc Vintage 2004 ($189). We’re pretty sure that they are going to show up at more than a few Basel fêtes in early December, and should definitely show up under a few trees at the end. If you want yours right away check out Total Wine, Portofino Wine Bank and Sunset Corners, the $20,000 bottle with artwork, however, is only available at Neiman Marcus.
