Haute Event: Vince Neil Celebrates His 51st Birthday at the Joint
In honor of his 51st birthday, the Hard Rock Hotel and AEG Live surprised Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neil with an extravagant rock ‘n’ roll inspired cake during Mötley Crüe in Sin City at The Joint Wednesday night.
The cake, created by Caked Las Vegas, featured a 3-foot tall guitar, some of the band’s signature album covers and a replica of Neil’s custom 1932 Ford Coupe hot rod currently on display inside Hard Rock Hotel. The Mötley Crüe singer was in complete shock as the cake was rolled out on stage during the band’s live show. To add to the excitement, guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee led the pumped up crowd in a rendition of “Happy Birthday.” The celebration continued late into the show when Neil joined Lee for a birthday ride on his signature 360 drum coaster.
On Sunday night, Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory was seen enjoying the show.
Performer Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie and Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer and bass player Chris Kael were spotted in the audience on Wednesday night as well.
