Haute 100 Update: Despite Divorce, Jennifer Lopez Performs at Wedding for $1 Million
Haute 100 power couple Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony may not be a couple anymore, but Lopez has been coping in her own way. Not letting last week’s decision to divorce get her down, the singer/actress has been going to work as usual. And by “as usual,” we mean she flew into the Ukraine yesterday morning to perform at the wedding of billionaire Serhly Taruta’s daughter’s wedding that same evening – and got paid a cool $1 million for it.
Jennifer and Marc were married in 2004 and have three-year-old twins together, Max and Emme. Their decision to separate was a shock to many and the couple agrees it was indeed a hard one to make. In a statement, they said, “We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.
