Haute Secrets New York

Name: Rose Caiola

The
stats: Caiola has been a New Yorker since birth.

Why she loves New York: Because, to quote Alicia Keys, it’s a “concrete jungle where dreams are made of!”

Rose Caiola is the founder and executive artistic director of Manhattan Youth Ballet and Manhattan Movement & Arts Center. But her interest in the arts doesn’t stop there. She is also the producer of an off-Broadway show called “Freckleface Strawberry,” which is based on the children’s books by Julianne Moore. She has also produced a variety of concerts and benefits over the last 15 years including “Hope for Haiti” and “The Knickerbocker Suite.”  Caiola received her education at NYU’s Tish School of the Arts and was mentored by Maestro Zsednyi, principle dancer of the Royal Hungarian Opera Ballet. Caiola says it’s her goal to provide both cultural and educational opportunities for the city at large through her artistic endeavors.
