Haute Event: Bachelor Pad Contestants at Hussong’s Cantina
Monday night marked the premiere of ABC’s new series Bachelor Pad and two of the reality show’s contestants marked the occasion at Hussong’s Cantina inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Juan Barbieri from The Bachelorette Season 5 and Michele Kujawa from The Bachelor Season 14 joined friends and fans to watch the show.
The two, who are now dating, took over several tables in the lounge, enjoying Coronas and snacks from the Hussong’s kitchen while they took in the premiere. Barbieri clapped and cheered while watching himself on TV and everyone yelled when Kujawa made her appearance on the show. Fans stopped by Hussong’s for autographs and photos. When they appeared on their original programs both cast members made waves and lasting impressions and their roles in this new series followed suit; the two quickly alienated the rest of the cast and were voted off by their housemates in the first episode, missing out of the chance to win $250,000. It seems all was not lost as romance clearly sparked from their time together. The couple was very affectionate while watching themselves on screen and even laughed as the crowd cheered as they were voted off the show.
