Paolo Zampolli’s Lavish New Spread

Surely, our readers are interested to know what prominent names are purchasing what luxurious properties, and today, Haute Living has quite the big news.  Paolo Zampolli (who is featured in Haute Living’s New York City Guide) has just purchased an elegant town home at 119 E. 17th St., on the corner of Irving Place.  The chic pad cost the former modeling agency mogul turned environmentalist/entrepreneur reportedly $4.71 million and will be providing him with the family home he has been hunting down.  With a child on the way, Paolo and his wife Amanda are hoping to establish themselves in this lavish five story, 8,400-square-foot home.  His lovely wife will be giving birth to a boy, whom they plan to name Giovanni after Paolo’s grandfather.

Mr. Zampolli has hired a new face in upscale architecture, Andre Kikoski, who will be in charge of creating two more floors and expanding the home’s square footage to an impressive 12,000 square feet.  The reasons for alterations come from the need for more space, according to the power couple; the extra space will provide larger living area as well as accommodate guests and Paolo’s own mother.

When Haute Living last caught up with Mr. Zampolli, he discussed his exit from the modeling world and entrance into the “real” of real estate.  It seems that he is fitting quite well into his new role and will not be holding back on making his personal home one to applaud.  According to Paolo himself, the home will take approximately one year for completion and Haute Living will be there to witness its magnificence.
