Luggage For The Little Ones
Gone are the days when kids’ travel bags were rainbow-hued and made from plastic. Luxury children’s boutique Maisonette has paired with chic, travel accessory brand Paravel, to create four travel bags made from canvas for your mini-me’s, with their exclusive Maisonette x Paravel collection.
The Grand Tour is a lightweight duffle bag adorned with subtly-colored, yet whimsical patches – a trend we’ve seen implemented by some of the bigger, luxury fashion houses, including Louis Vuitton. The waterproof and spill-proof bag is durable as ever, and will last for years.
The second style, called the Stowaway, is a fun take on a traditional suitcase. Also lightweight and adopting the patch trend, this style uses Italian leather for its top handle and features a collapsible interior frame, so it conveniently stores flat.
Both bags come with dual, lockable zippers and removable shoulder straps, as well as either blue or red accent coloring to complement your littlest adventurer’s style.
Co-founded by Sylvana Ward Durrett and Luisana Mendoza Roccia, who both began their careers as Executive Assistant to Anna Winter at Vogue at different times and later became Director of Special Projects and Accessories Editor, Maisonette is a celeb favorite for kidswear. The brand’s launch party this past summer, covered by E! News, garnered a lot of star power, with attendees such as Keri Russell, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Karlie Kloss and Anna Wintour herself.
For moms and dads, Paravel’s full collection is available on its website, featuring a wide array of durable and lightweight luggage made from Italian leather and cotton canvas, combining style and resilience. Featured in top publications, including Vogue, Architectural Digest and Who What Wear, most styles are also customizable with hand-painted monogramming and emojis.
The Maisonette x Paravel kids collection is available exclusively on the Maisonette website.
