Earlier this week Princess Charlotte, the second child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, had her very first day of preschool. The two-year old royal posed for an official portrait, unofficially taken by her mother, before heading off to Willcocks Nursery School. The private west London school was founded in 1964 and is housed in a church hall. It’s a short walk from Kensington Palace and a cool $20K per year.

The toddler princess looked adorably girly in her red and pink outfit. She wore a red wool coat by British children’s brand Amaia, a pink scarf, and pink backpack by Cath Kidston. The look was completed with grey tights and sweet red Mary Janes. Her hair was pulled back and secured with a perfectly tied red bow.
