CYBEX And Jeremy Scott Host Halloween Extravaganza For Their Third Collaboration
A constellation of Hollywood stars and their little ones descended to Hollywood Castle, atop Hollywood Hills, to celebrate the launch of the third collaboration between CYBEX, premier toddler and children gear brand, and fashion designer Jeremy Scott.
Fitting for the season, the fete amounted to a chic Halloween extravaganza. Among the prominent attendees were actor James Van Der Beek, his wife and producer Kimberly Brooks and their four children, actress and model Devon Aoki, actress Jaime King, as well as child actresses Raegan Revord and Brooklynn Prince.
Aside from delving into typical Halloween activities like pumpkin decorating, the guests had the chance to explore CYBEX x Jeremy Scott Cherubs collection, which intricately blends the brand’s dedication to modern minimalism and the extravagant designer’s preference for unconventionality.
“As cherubs are known to be not only cute but a bit mischievous, I wanted to have them with a hip hop flare and have them with boomboxes and turn their bows and arrows into dollar signs, all the while having them wear high tops,” said Scott in a video that explains his artistic inspiration behind the line.
Surprising and attention grabbing, the collaboration has reimagined some of CYBEX’ most iconic pieces, infusing them with a whimsical and stylish aesthetic that is not only a fashion statement for parents but also a cheery and safe amenity for kids.
Scott took on CYBEX’s PRIAM and MIOS 3-in-1 travel systems, giving them golden wings and playful prints in baby pink and blue. (Perhaps among the first toddler to try the high-end gear was DJ Khaled’s son Asahd who received a winged CYBEX stroller for his 1st birthday.) The same playful makeover swept the Cloud Q infant car seat, the YEMA baby carrier as well as several high-end accessories like the label’s cozy footmuff and roomy changing bag.
