Shannon McLin

Shannon McLin, B.C.S. (formerly Shannon McLin Carlyle), is a board-certified Florida appellate lawyer and the founder of Florida Appeals, an Orlando-based boutique firm devoted to appellate advocacy and trial-support work. She is board-certified in appellate practice by The Florida Bar and is a certified circuit court and appellate mediator. She has been a member of The Florida Bar in good standing since 1993 and has been board-certified in appellate practice since 2004. Her practice covers complex civil, commercial, constitutional, and family law appeals across Florida's courts. She began her career as an appellate law clerk at Florida's Fifth District Court of Appeal, then founded a boutique appellate firm, and in 2019 opened Florida Appeals. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she was an associate editor of the Pepperdine Law Review, and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Central Florida. She is admitted in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
